Been renting through M&Co for a year now and there have been positives and negatives. The start of the process; arranging a viewing, signing the contract and providing documents was quite poor. It seemed like there was a lack of communication internally. I think really this just came down to a few staff, rather than the company as a whole. I believe said staff are no longer there. However, ever since that they have been great. They've been informative and up-front throughout the tenancy, giving us adequate notice of inspections and works. Any problems we've had have been dealt with within a fair timescale. They also made up for the initial signing confusion by providing a smooth renewal process, again being up-front about fees and processes. Now entering into the second year in the same property and are hoping for much of the same service. 4 stars due to those initial hiccups, otherwise potentially could have made a 5!
Lettings- Generally quite good. To start with was very good, walked into the estate agents and within 30 minutes we had 2 viewings arranged and they had all our details they needed. When we viewed the house we eventually went for, the estate agent was 5 minutes late but that's not the worst thing-it happens. During the viewing she was very informative and answered our questions, and the next day we contacted them saying we wanted it and everything was pretty smooth in that respect. The things which has stopped them getting 5 stars is that on a couple of occasions we were asked to provide documents/details which we had already provided so there was some lack of communication among themselves. Also when we paid the deposit the person seeing to us again asked for details which had already been provided and also didn't know how to print the receipt for the deposit (a bit odd). But moving in day was fine, they had keys ready and the estate agent was at the house on time to show us round and test smoke alarms and explain the itinerary. At no point have there been any surprise costs or unexpected things happen, and any dates which were agreed for viewings/paying deposit/moving in were always kept to. And since moving in, communication with the property manager has been very good too.

Been a letting agent of mine for some time. Small firm basically a one man band run by Greg who also makes the tea and cleans the toilets. He hasn't done much to expand the business since 2011 as his father passed away suddenly and then his mum was ill with a terminal illness she has now passed away. He re opened to new customers in 2015 only added top quality homes and has since told me that the lettings market is so cut throat in Abingdon that his has moved into sales as most of his landlords are old and wanting to sell their properties to retire. As most have been with him from the start in 2005. I is a shame that small firms that give people a choice are so often attacked. Companies have to start and customers have a choice. I wanted to write this review as I was prompted by one written by Dave Smit (below) I knowing ,Greg and Bluedoor know this must be a nasty troll. I also wouldn't mind betting it's untrue as if you ever chatted to Greg you would know he will tell you everything good and bad. Fantastic company hope sales will pick up.

Outstanding customer service both on a personal and commercial level. Many letting agents bombard you with any property that is on the market. When I signed on with Finder Keepers they took note of what my requirements were and I was only matched with properties which fulfilled these. The knowledge of the local area and what is available is second to none. Entirely professional organisation. Immensely impressed. Ask for Jake - very helpful :)

Having gone through a process elsewhere which fell apart and constantly required me to chase the agent for several months this agency was a welcome change. The agent knew the ins and outs of the agreement and acted quickly when there was new information without having to be emailed constantly for updates. Very good overall, I would use again. Can't remember what they were like for viewings as I found most properties myself and ended up seeing a lot of different agencies.

Impeccable service and a fantastic team who are thoroughly supportive, going above and beyond to exceed our expectations! We recently sold our home in Abingdon with Simpsons and having approached a number of other estate agents in Abingdon and the surrounding area. We found them to be the most approachable, clearly demonstrating a consultative and well thought out approach to selling our flat. Arranging viewings with Jake was easy and feedback on each was always prompt. My partner and I just completed on the sale of our property with Chancellors and couldn't be more pleased with the service we've received. Alex was excellent in first giving us all of the info we needed to instruct them, and then keeping in regular contact, arranging viewings and providing feedback throughout. Alex and his team managed to get the property marketed and sold within 4 months, so I'd highly recommend to anyone looking for a proactive, motivated agent in the area.

This service was invaluable and made the whole process clear, efficient and easy.
